This is a man made thin veneer product. Made from a concrete base with color added. The color is added during the mixing which means it is consistent throughout. Any chipping will not result in discoloration. It is lite, weighing less than half the weight of real stone which, makes it prefect for hanging in a place where weight is an issue.

You'll need a couple of other materials in order to hang this stone. One is metal Lath. This is honeycombed looking material that comes usually in 4 x 8 sheets (it can be purchased in smaller sizes). You can purchase it at any Home Depot or Lowes. You also need the nails to install it so, makes sure to ask if they are not stocked with the Lath.
